Hello, I'm Michelle and I'm a self taught abstract artist from Maryland. I am not shy to let others know that I have bipolar disorder and it has allowed me to find new places in my mind that needed to be brought out for everyone to see! My works vary from excessively chaotic to what I'd like to think is 'serene'. I encourage others to use art as a way to cope with mental illness or just the daily stress of life! Many collectors of my work have connected my pieces with raw emotion and feelings. Sometimes it's hard to empathize with a person who has a mental illness when you can't experience it yourself...my works help to provide a visual representation of what I feel being inside a bipolar mind.
